General Characteristics

Laughing gas, molecular formula N2O, also known as nitrous oxide, nitrous oxide, colorless, sweet, non-combustible gas, is an oxidant that can support combustion under certain conditions (same as oxygen, because laughing gas can Decomposes into nitrogen and oxygen), but stable at room temperature. Application

Laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is mainly used in dentistry, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, leak detection, refrigerants, combustion promoters, preservatives, chemical raw materials, gas for atomic absorption spectroscopy, equilibrium gas for semiconductor manufacturing, oxidation, chemical vapor Deposition, standard gas, medical gas, smoke spray, vacuum and pressure leak detection.

Security Measures

Electronic-grade laughter is a combustion-supporting gas like oxygen, so keep it away from combustibles such as oil and heat sources and fires. In the event of a leak, the personnel in the leaking contaminated area should be quickly evacuated to the upper wind, and isolated until the gas is exhausted. It is recommended that emergency handlers wear self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate work clothes. Reasonable ventilation, do not let the leakage contact with combustible materials (wood, paper, oil, etc.), cut off the air source, and then exhaust (indoor) or strong ventilation (outdoor). Leak containers can no longer be used and are technically treated to remove any remaining gas.
